Palm Beach County’s weekly condo sales nosedived following a mid-June spike in deals.
Brokers closed 90 condo sales totaling $33 million from June 23 to June 29. That’s a sharp downturn from 155 closings totaling $239 million the previous week.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $366,742, lower than the $1,542,036 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot fell to $256 from $624, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $700,000 to $3.6 million.
Unit 1805P at Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences, at 3100 North Ocean Drive on Singer Island, took the top spot with a $3.6 million closing. The sale closed at $1,426 per square foot after 251 days on market.
Alexis King with Douglas Elliman had the listing, and John True with Oceanfront Real Estate & Development brought the buyer.
Unit 21A at Plaza of the Palm Beaches, at 525 South Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach, closed for the second highest amount, $1.8 million, or $860 per square foot after 221 days on market.
Andrew Thomka-Gazdik with Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing, and Hadar Goldberg with Keller Williams Realty represented the buyer.
