An investigation is underway after a man in Northwest Miami-Dade was sent to the hospital after officials said he was shot in the face early Thursday morning.
According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, a man was taken to Ryder Trauma Center after suffering a gunshot wound to the face in the area of NW 89th St. and 22nd Ave in West Little River.
