Movers & Shakers: BH3 taps Adam Falk as principal, co-portfolio manager


In the latest roundup of hiring news, South Florida real estate players proclaimed: new year, new job. 

BH3 Management tapped Adam Falk as principal and co-portfolio manager, according to a press release. Falk will be based in BH3’s Manhattan office and will focus on deal sourcing, asset management and portfolio management as the firm pursues national expansion. He was previously a managing director at Criterion Real Estate Capital for nearly 14 years, according to his LinkedIn. 

Led by co-founders Daniel Lebensohn and Gregory Freedman, BH3 is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale and works in both lending and development.

Also in Fort Lauderdale, Government Law Group brought in former Delray Beach Vice Mayor Jordana L. Jarjura as Of Counsel, according to a press release. She joins the firm as a land use and government relations attorney and will focus on Government Law Group’s specializations in municipal law, land use and zoning, development, code enforcement, government contracts, bid protests and boutique complex litigation, the release shows.

Davie-based general contractor ANF Group promoted four team members, a press release shows. Project executive Tony Fernandez was promoted to vice president; senior project manager David Trujillo was promoted to project executive; senior project manager Ernie Rodriguez was promoted to project executive; and senior project manager Peter Kurszewski was promoted to project executive. 

As vice president, Hernandez will oversee project execution and focus on client relationships in the multifamily sector, according to the release. 

In West Palm Beach, Atlantic Capital Partners hired Zack Hilgendorf and Nick Hilgendorf, according to a press release. Zack Hilgendorf joins the firm as a senior vice president and Nick Hilgendorf as an associate. Both come from Quantum Real Estate Advisors, where Zack Hilgendorf was an executive vice president and Nick Hilgendorf was an associate. 

Commercial brokerage Katz & Associates promoted Robert Nuchereno to director in its Boca Raton office, according to a press release. Nuchereno was previously a retail associate with the brokerage for three years, LinkedIn shows. In his new role, he will focus on tenant and landlord representation.

Douglas Elliman brought in Andrew Secular, the owner of shuttered West Village Tex-Mex institution Tortilla Flats, according to a press release. He closed the bar in 2018 after a 35-year run and moved into real estate, becoming an agent with Keyes in 2020. At Douglas Elliman, he is joining Cindy Orlinsky’s team in Aventura.

Fort Lauderdale-based Altman Logistics Properties appointed Andrea Jang and Arden Karson to its advisory board, according to a press release. Jang leads AJS Advisory, a strategic advisory firm focused on growth and innovation strategies for early stage proptech and middle market real estate companies. She previously served as chief operating officer at Ackman-Ziff in New York City. Arden Karson is managing principal of Karson & Co, a real estate brokerage and development firm based in Miami.
