Megan Thee Stallion hospitalized during 'Moulin Rouge!' show on Broadway

Megan Thee Stallion was hospitalized during Tuesday night’s showing of “Moulin Rouge!” on Broadway in New York City, a spokesperson for the rapper said.

“During Tuesday night’s production, Megan started feeling very ill and was promptly transported to a local hospital, where her symptoms are currently being evaluated,” the spokesperson said in a statement.

The spokesperson declined to share more details about Megan’s condition and said details will be released as more information becomes available.

Megan stepped into the role of Zilder on March 24 — her first time on the Broadway stage — and will play the part until May 17 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

She is the first woman to helm the traditionally male role not only in the Broadway production, but also in any production of “Moulin Rouge!” worldwide, according to Playbill.com.

“Broadway debut loading…” Megan wrote in an Instagram post last week featuring a slideshow of photos in costume.

“Moulin Rouge!” brings the famed film to the stage and features songs by Adele, Katy Perry, Sia, Rihanna and Beyoncé, as well as hits from the movie.

On her opening night, Megan added a bit of her own discography to the show.

Videos posted to social media show Megan performing a medley of some of her biggest songs, including “Body,” “WAP” and “Savage.”
