Taylor Swift is turning the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards into a date night, with fiancé Travis Kelce by her side.
About 20 minutes before the ceremony began on Thursday, March 26, iHeartRadio posted on its X account that the Kansas City Chiefs star was attending the show and making his way to his seat. IHeartRadio uploaded a video of Kelce walking through the hallway of the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, where the award show is being held.
A few minutes later, Swift was then filmed waving to fans as she entered the historic auditorium.
Although they arrived separately, the two met up inside, marking their first time attending an award show together.
As host Ludacris welcomed the audience and viewers to the ceremony, he mentioned in his opening monologue that this was the pop icon’s third time attending the iHeartRadio Music Awards, which honors the most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and app of the past year.
After saying her name, cameras cut to Swift, who delivered a wink and a wave to the camera before turning to smile at the person next her. When Ludacris made his way through the crowd of stars in the first row, it was revealed that Kelce was the mystery person seated beside her.
IHeartRadio quickly shared a clip of the couple on X, writing, “Tayvis looking stunning as ever!!”
As the night continued, the “The Fate of Ophelia” singer and the NFL star posed for the camera. In one sweet snap they lovingly looked at each other.
The singer won pop album of the year for “The Life of a Showgirl,” which was released in October 2025. After Raye announced her as the winner, Swift stood and quickly shared a kiss with Kelce before taking the stage.
During her speech she spoke about writing her latest album and took a moment to give the NFL player a loving shout out.
“This album probably also feels very happy and confident and free because that’s the way that I get to feel every single day of my life because of my fiancé, who is here tonight,” she said.
“So thanks for all the vibes,” she added as the crowd applauded. Kelce was also seen saying, “I love you” while Swift was onstage.
The pair, who have been dating since 2023, announced their engagement in August 2025.
During Raye’s performance of “Where Is My Husband,” the two shared another sweet moment when Swift was seen hugging her soon-to-be husband and mouthing the lyrics to him.
Swifties couldn’t get enough of the couple. For this special occasion, they celebrated seeing Swift and Kelce together and also shared videos on social media of them inside the Dolby Theatre.
In one clip, the two greeted musician Sombr.
Another showed them holding hands.
One X user wrote about the couple, “Taylor and Travis look AMAZING.”
A second Swiftie said, “I think no one’s ready for the amount of Taylor and Travis content we’re gonna have tonight, buckle up, sisters, ‘cause we’re taking off.”
Since releasing her latest album, Swift has been laying low and hasn’t attended many Hollywood events. Some wondered if Swift had a special announcement up her sleeve.
“Taylor and Travis at the awards show, I’m even scared of the surprises,” one tweeted.
While there were no surprises, Swift did end the night with a total of seven iHeartRadio Music Awards, including artist of the year. She took the stage once again, thanking Olympic ice skater Alysa Liu for presenting the awards to her. She also spoke about her love of music and honing her craft as a singer-songwriter.
She encouraged the audience to pursue their hobbies and passions, like she did from a young age.
“I am a firm believer that anything you feed your mind, it will internalize. Anything you feed the internet, it will attempt to kill. And I don’t want that for your dreams,” she told the crowd as she concluded her final speech of the night.
Here comes the bride! Taylor Swift has stepped out with new fiancé Travis Kelce for the first time since their engagement.
