The music producer recently launched a new podcast with Lil Dicky, whose real name is David Burd, and his wife, Kristin Batalucco, called “Friends Keep Secrets.” The trio had been teasing the release of their first episode, which arrived Feb. 24, across social media platforms. But when “Friends Keep Secrets” debuted, fans could only focus on one thing: Blanco’s feet.
Just over a minute into the debut, Blanco lounged on a sofa beside Batalucco with his feet propped up, revealing his dirty soles. Social media users then began sharing screenshots of the moment, later leading to a response from Blanco and wife Selena Gomez.

About a minute into the first episode of Blanco’s “Friends Keep Secrets” podcast, the music producer lifted his rear and farted. Somehow, that was not the moment that rubbed fans the wrong way. That came just a few seconds later when he placed his feet on the sofa, with dirt extending from his toes to his heels fully visible.
Those watching couldn’t believe their eyes. One commented beneath the YouTube video, “Benny dawg wash your dawgs.”
Another wrote, “Good podcast, wash your feet benny and wash the floors.”
A third said, “Next time tell Benny to take his feet off before coming in the house. Lol them things were disgustingly dirty.”
The conversation continued on X, with some describing his feet as “filthy.”
What did Benny Blanco say about his dirty feet?
Blanco addressed his dirty feet during a “Jimmy Kimmel Live” interview that aired on Feb. 26 after the talk show host asked him about the moment.
“First of all, it’s the facility’s fault. It’s not mine,” Blanco said, before removing one shoe and sock to reveal his clean foot. “I have great feet.”
Blanco then continued to show off his clean feet as the camera zoomed in on them.
Lil Dicky, who was also a part of the interview, added that it was the first day they filmed their podcast, “So the crew was coming in and out.”
Host Jimmy Kimmel chimed in and asked, “So, you’re saying that Dave’s floors are not clean?”
Lil Dicky quipped, “On that day, it was dirty. You know how floors get.”
Selena Gomez kisses Benny Blanco’s feet
For the second episode of “Friends Keep Secrets,” the trio invited Gomez to be their special guest.
Gomez opened up about a variety of topics, from her mental health to her friendship with Taylor Swift and being the inspiration behind the pop icon’s song “Dorothea.”
But toward the end of the episode, Gomez seemed to not so subtly respond to the criticism about her husband’s hygiene. When the co-hosts were chatting about children, Gomez leaned in and kissed her husband’s foot, which was noticeably less dirty.
“You like that?” Blanco asked his co-hosts with a cheeky smile on his face.
Gomez then playfully hit Blanco and said, “Oh, don’t make it a moment.”
He replied, “Oh no, I wasn’t. I liked it. It made me feel good. I love you so much.”
Gomez said, “I love you,” as she placed her head on her husband’s toes.
But social media users weren’t swayed by her gesture.
“Opened this app to see selena kissing a dirty foot, and I think that’s me done for today,” one tweeted.
Another said, “I AM DISGUSTED.”
