David and Victoria Beckham send birthday messages to Brooklyn Beckham amid family feud

Less than two months after Brooklyn Peltz Beckham spoke publicly about a feud between himself and his family, his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, posted messages to their social media pages wishing him a happy 27th birthday.

On March 4, David Beckham posted on Instagram a throwback photo of him, his wife and Peltz Beckham as a toddler, all smiling in a pool.

“27 today 🥹,” he captioned the picture, while also tagging Victoria.

“Happy birthday Bust 🤍,” he added. “We love you x.”

He also tagged his wife in another photo he posted — a black and white picture of him with Peltz Beckham as a boy, just a bit older than he was in the pool picture. He and his father smile as they look in the camera.

Victoria Beckham shared the pool photo, writing, “Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much ❤️.”

She also posted a black and white picture of her playing with Peltz Beckham as a toddler, while he was in a diaper.

“Happy 27th birthday Brooklyn, I love you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” she captioned the image.

In January, Peltz Beckham, the oldest of the Beckhams’ four children, blasted his parents in a lengthy statement on his Instagram story. He claimed they tried to ruin his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, whom he married in 2022.

“I do not want to reconcile with my family,” Peltz Beckham wrote.

“For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.”

He said his parents made “brand Beckham” their priority and denied rumors that his wife “controls” him.

“I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared,” he wrote.

Victoria and David Beckham did not reply to TODAY.com’s request for comment about their son’s post at the time. Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham also did not respond to a request for comment.

Rumors about a rift between Peltz Beckham and his parents have circled online for a few years. He did not appear in his father’s 2025 year-end Instagram post, which featured 20 pictures, although he was featured in a series of throwback photos the soccer icon posted on New Year’s Eve.

Peltz Beckham was also not in attendance for last October’s London premiere of his mother’s Netflix documentary, “Victoria Beckham.”
