The Miller family may be returning to Netflix.
As “Adolescence” nabbed four trophies at the 2026 Golden Globes on Sunday, Stephen Graham teased whether his and co-creator Jack Thorne‘s limited series would be returning for a second season.
“I cannot answer that question because it’s somewhere in the deep recesses of my mind and Jack’s mind,” the actor said in an interview with Deadline at the 83rd annual ceremony. “We’ll pull it out in three or four years, so stay tuned.”
Until then, Graham — who won Best Male Actor for Television in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or Television Motion Picture — is simply embracing the impact the Netflix show has had on its viewers, like a father-son duo who told him it has brought them closer.
“It’s unbelievable,” he told reporters backstage after his win at the Beverly Hilton, noting a woman came up to him “and she just started crying when she was talking to us because the impact it had had on their friend’s son and it had helped him choose a better path.”

As he added, that’s “the biggest honor I could ever ask for.”
Season one of the hit focused on 13-year-old Jamie (Owen Cooper), who was suspected of killing his classmate Katie Leonard (Emilia Holliday) after she rejected his romantic advances.
And for those who watched, well, Graham has an ask.
“I want to say to every parent, please give your kid a massive cuddle,” he added. “Tell them how much you love them and listen to them when they want to talk to you. Make sure the bedroom door’s always open and make sure you communicate with each other.”
Graham wasn’t the only “Adolescence” star to take home gold, either. Cooper — whose character ultimately pleaded guilty to the murder — became the youngest star to win Best Supporting Actor in a TV series for his role.
“I think it’s the most proudest I’ve ever been,” he shared with reporters backstage. “We made it with love and it was a special show, but never in a million years did we think we’d be here, the Emmys, the Critics Choice Awards, even in this continent, really. We’re all, as the cast and crew, just so grateful to be here.”
“Adolescence” star Owen Cooper had an epic night at the 2025 Emmy Awards.
