The 1.5-acre lot last sold in 2021 for $26.3 million and went up for sale in 2023 for $38.9 million. The seller was 1300 South Ocean LLC, and the buyer was Pitchoune Life LLC. Serhant’s Gary Pohrer and Douglas Elliman’s Nick Malinosky represented the seller, and Marine Rollins with Miami Global Realty brought the buyer.
🏆 Commercial: Palm Beach Gardens had the top commercial deal recorded in South Florida, with the sale of a 45,400-square-foot office-and-retail complex at 3901 Design Center Drive for $15.5 million. The seller was PGA Design Partners LP, and the buyer was an affiliate of Palm Beach Gardens-based LRP Media Group. The deal works out to more than $340 per square foot.
📊 Residential: Thomas Peck, who was once president of a flooring company, and Jill Barnes shed a home spanning almost 9,300 square feet at 10840 Old Cutler Road in Coral Gables. The buyer was Belterra Investments, which paid $21.5 million, or more than $2,300 per square foot, for the property. The seven-bedroom home was built in 2023 and has eight full bathrooms, two half baths, a five-car garage, an elevator and a pool. Evelyn Carrero with Aria Luxe represented the sellers, who purchased the property in 2024 for $17 million. Kristina Gugunava with Compass brought the buyer.
📊 Residential: Scott and Lauren Gilbert sold a condo at The Residences at The Bath Club at 5959 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach for $14.3 million. The buyer was Mark Ashley. The Gilberts had purchased the pad in 2011 for $5.7 million. The unit has three bedrooms and five bathrooms across 5,700 square feet. The latest deal pencils out to more than $2,500 per square foot.
