A Hialeah teen who fatally stabbed his mother in 2023 has pled guilty to murder. Derrick Rosa, who was 13 at the time of the killing, was sentenced to 25 years in prison followed by 20 years of probation. After entering his plea and offering a brief apology in court, tensions flared in a confrontation outside the courtroom.
