Police in Miami Gardens spent hours investigating after an officer shot and killed a 33‑year‑old man outside a home Friday night. Officers have since cleared the scene and allowed residents back into the neighborhood. Neighbors reported hearing anywhere from a few shots to nearly a dozen before dozens of police cars arrived. Investigators say the man who was killed was experiencing a crisis.
