Leave it to Céline Dion to show the Grinch the power of love.

The “These Are Special Times” singer put her comedic chops on display as she delivered her hilarious take on the holiday anti-hero, borrowing from fellow Canadian Jim Carrey’s iconic performance in the 2000 family film “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”

Dressed in a furry green costume with the Grinch’s full face makeup along with a Santa Claus-inspired coat and hat, the 57-year-old hit the perfect note as she recited one of the movie’s most memorable scenes in a Dec. 24 Instagram video, offering her own spin on the Dr. Seuss character running through his oh-so-busy calendar.

“The nerve of those Whos, inviting me down there on such short notice,” Dion said as she sat by an open fire while her dog sat on her lap. “Even if I wanted to go, my schedule wouldn’t allow it!”

The Grammy winner went on to name various commitments in her diary, including exercising her voice, scrolling TikTok in bed “endlessly,” and solving world hunger — but staying true to the Grinch’s nature, she deadpanned, “Tell no one.”

And in a stylistic choice only Dion could pull off, she also sang sections of her 1996 single “All By Myself,” highlighting the notoriously grumpy creature’s solitary lifestyle.

“Silent night?” she captioned the post. “Not on my watch…”

While Dion seemed to revel in the social media performance, Carrey, 63, recently revealed that the Grinch’s uncomfortable green getup and heavy prosthetics nearly drove him to his wit’s end.

“The suit was made of unnervingly itchy yak hair that drove me insane all day long,” he told Vulture in an interview published Dec. 12. “I had 10-inch-long fingers, so I couldn’t scratch myself or touch my face or do anything. I had teeth that I had to find a way to speak around, and I had full contact lenses that covered the entire eyeball, and I could only see a tiny tunnel in front of me.”

After threatening to quit the now-beloved production — and return his $20 million paycheck — director Ron Howard and producer Brian Grazer convinced Carrey to stick it out with the help of a Navy SEAL commander, who taught him torture endurance tactics including punching himself in the leg, smoking between takes and eating “everything in sight.”

The actor also stayed in a positive headspace with the help of one of music’s most enduring pop acts — and, coincidentally, one Dion has collaborated with in the past.

“I listened through the makeup process to the entire Bee Gees catalogue,” he shared. “Their music is so joyful. I’ve never met Barry Gibb, but I want to thank him.”
