Kevin Faulk is navigating a devastating loss.
The former New England Patriots player has lost his daughter, Tanasha Faulk, who died at the age of 30 on Dec. 6, according to an online obituary and the Acadiana Advocate.
Neither the advocate nor the obituary shared details about Tanasha’s cause of death, though the former noted her passing came “unexpectedly” and that she’d been admitted to the Oschner Lafayette General Medical Center at the time. The outlet also shared that no foul play is suspected.
In the obituary for Tanasha, who was one of Kevin and wife Latisha Faulk’s three daughters, her loved ones said she was known for “her vibrant spirit, her deep devotion to those she loved, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.”
“Family was the center of Tanasha’s world,” the obituary continued. “Especially her three daughters, who were the greatest blessings of her life. Being their mother brought her so much joy and she was immensely proud watching them grow and learn.”

She loved the holidays, Mardi Gras, family gatherings and to cook, creating “a sense of home” in her home-cooked meals for her loved ones.
“Tanasha will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering love for her family, and the light she brought to all who knew her, her obituary added. “Her memory will live on in the hearts of her beautiful girls and family.”
In addition to her parents Kevin and Latisha, Tanasha is survived by her three children, her partner of five years Isaac Louis, sister Tionne Lewis, as well as brothers Tavion Faulk and Kevin Faulk III.
Her passing comes just four years after the death of her younger sister Kevione Tronsha Faulk, who was 19 at the time of her passing in 2021.
While no details were shared about Kevione’s cause of death, Louisiana State University — where Kevione worked alongside her father, who was a running backs coach — shared a statement mourning her passing.
“We are heartbroken with the passing of Kevione Faulk, and our thoughts and prayers are with the Faulk family,” LSU shared at the time. “She was a part of the LSU family, and we mourn the loss of a daughter, a sister, a friend, a classmate and a colleague.”
“We ask that all Tigers keep the Faulks in their prayers,” the school continued, “and respect their privacy at this difficult time.”
