Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando are embarking on something truly beautiful.

After the “Flowers” singer and Liily drummer stepped out at the “Avatar: Fire and Ash” premiere in Los Angeles Dec. 1 with Cyrus sporting a ring on that finger, their engagement has been confirmed, multiple outlets have reported.

The couple — who first began dating in 2021 — were all smiles at the recent premiere as they shared sweet moments together for the cameras.

In addition to her thick, gold band engagement ring with a simple yet large diamond, Cyrus sported a black, strapless sequined ball gown with a silver necklace and matching earrings. Morando, for his part, kept it classic in a simple black suit with a white dress shirt underneath.

Cyrus and Morando’s big news comes just months after the 33-year-old addressed her six-year age gap with the 27-year-old, admitting that there are pros to being the slightly older one in the relationship.

“I’m just hoping that, as long as he follows in my footsteps, everything is going to be great,” she explained during a June appearance on the Sorry We’re Cyrus podcast, noting that when she was Morando’s age, “That’s right when I started turning my life around.”

Indeed, Cyrus — who was previously married to Liam Hemsworth from 2018 to 2020 — noted that the couple’s age gap is just one way she’s found they’ve been compatible over their four-year romance.

“He’s a Scorpio and so is his grandfather, that’s what makes Morando just so cool because he can sting,” she continued. “Like, [Scorpios are] very cool, think that they’re little angels, until it turns around and they got a sting.”

And the “Hannah Montana” alum joked that Morando’s ability to “sting” has kept their romance strong. As she noted of the idea of being with a softer personality, “They would have been toast already.”

Their compatibility folds into their careers, too. After all, Cyrus featured her now-fiancé in her recent “Something Beautiful” visual album, with him playing the drums in “End of the World” and making a cameo in “Walk of Fame.”

For Cyrus, the collaboration was a natural fit.

“I’ve always worked with the people that I love,” she explained to Harper’s Bazaar last year. “And Maxx just inspires me so much.”

But Cyrus‘ road to her happily ever after with Morando hasn’t been a perfectly carved path. In fact, the “Angels Like You” singer admitted that she had to get it wrong a few times to make it right. Earlier this year, she reflected on her previous marriage to the “Hunger Games” alum, noting she had tried to change parts of herself to make it last.

“I was like, well, ‘I’m safe and I’m clean and I’m wearing all white and I’m singing songs about nature,’” Cyrus noted of her “Younger Now” era during an appearance on the “Every Single Album” podcast in June, noting during that time she was “just trying to find a persona that could keep my personal life intact.”

Ultimately, though, Cyrus had to block out the noise when it came to what to do in her romantic life — even ignoring the advice of her own mom Tish Cyrus.

“I ended up with a person who means a lot to me and treats me really well and respects me,” she explained in an interview with her mom, as well as sisters Noah Cyrus and Brandi Cyrus, in “The Cut” in September. “I had to learn that the hard way because my mommy taught me the wrong way and then I had to learn the right way by myself.”

Of course, the climb was worth it — because the view is great. As Cyrus put it, “My man’s hot as hell too.”
