A 33‑year‑old man is in custody after Miami Beach police say he hurled an antisemitic slur at a Jewish day school teacher, then slapped, spit on her, and smashed her cellphone outside Lehrman Community Day School on Tuesday morning. Police identified the suspect as Slemons Graves, whom the victim did not know.
