Cuban Americans rally in Miami, demand human rights and freedom for Cuba


Dozens of Cuban Americans gathered outside Versailles Restaurant in Little Havana on International Human Rights Day, protesting the Cuban government and what they describe as severe human‑rights violations on the island. Demonstrators said Cubans lack basic freedoms — including the ability to speak, think or dissent — and called for the release of political prisoners.
