Disney and Pixar just released the first teaser trailer for “Toy Story 5,” and this time Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the gang are taking on their most modern enemy yet — a tablet.
The first teaser doesn’t provide much insight into the plot, but it does set the stage for a timely story. The beloved toys appear to be terrified at the arrival of a sleek new tech toy that is captivating the attention of children everywhere.

Greta Lee joins the Toy Story cast as the voice of “Lilypad” — the shiny, new, terrifying, tablet threatening the rest of the toys precious play time. Conan O’Brien is also joining the cast as a new toilet training tech toy, “Smarty Pants.”
Will the toys be able to take on the threat of tech and survive in a digital world? We’ll find out when “Toy Story 5” hits the theaters on July 19, 2026.
