United Way Miami launches emergency aid as SNAP funding stalls during historic shutdown

With the federal shutdown dragging into day 38 and SNAP funding in limbo for 42 million Americans, United Way Miami has created an emergency program to help local residents cover food and rent, offering relief to the roughly 600,000 Miami-Dade households affected.
