Police in Miami Gardens are searching for a driver who sped past officers conducting radar checks and then turned their car toward one of them. An officer fired at the vehicle after being unable to get out of the way. The incident happened near Northwest 22nd Avenue and 158th Street, where police set up a command center and lined the block as the search continued.
