Admittedly, most Thanksgiving dishes don’t exactly lend themselves well to dessert flavors, but Oreo is giving it the old college try with its limited-edition “test-and-learn” flavors this holiday season.

According to a company spokesperson, the Thanksgiving Dinner Inspired Cookies collection “reimagines classic holiday flavors in every bite.” The collection features the following six flavors:

  • Turkey & Gravy
  • Sweet Potato
  • Cream Corn
  • Apple Caramel Pie
  • Pumpkin Pie
  • Cranberry Sauce

Each Oreo cookie is covered in fudge that’s infused with one of the six flavors.

Available exclusively on the Oreo website, the Thanksgiving collection comes housed in an Oreo-shaped tin and includes 12 cookies (two of each flavor). It retails for $19.99 plus shipping (more on that later).

Oreo is also selling individual packs of the Caramel Apple Pie and Pumpkin Pie flavors, along with a classic Oreo flavor Thanksgiving tin.

Oreo fans aren’t sold on the new flavors — or the shipping costs

After hearing about the new Oreo flavors on @snackolator‘s Instagram, many Oreo lovers were giving thanks that they didn’t have to try the bizarre flavors.

“No, I have no desire to try these,” one social media user commented.

“Turkey-flavored Oreos? 🤨🤢,” another wrote.

“I want the tin, but I am afraid of the cookies,” said someone else.

One Instagram user kept their assessment of the collection quite simple with a one-word comment: “Yuck.”

However, some Oreo fans were intrigued by the flavor experiment.

“God this sounds disgusting. I wanna try them,” one wrote.

Another commented, “Literally went and bought it as soon as I saw this post lmao.”

Some Instagram users were quick to list the flavors that interested them the most.

“That apple pie one sound 🔥,” one commented.

“I want to eat only the corn one 😢,” one wrote.

One sticking point for many consumers weighing their decision to try or pass on the collection? Shipping costs.

“I was about to buy it when the shipping cost more than the item 😭,” one noted.

“$20 isn’t bad. It’s the $24 shipping on top of that!!!!!” another commented.

When TODAY.com simulated purchasing the tin, shipping was discounted 50% off and rang in at $15.71 (regular price of $31.42).

Some customers wished that the tin was available in stores. However, a company spokesperson confirmed to TODAY.com that it’s available exclusively online.
