A woman hid from intruders as they broke into her Los Angeles home Monday night.
Law enforcement sources told NBC Los Angeles Investigates the victim is the mother of music producer Benny Blanco.
The incident happened on Shadyglade Avenue in Studio City at around 9:30 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The homeowner was home at the time when two men broke in through a sliding glass door on the side. The intruders were described as two men wearing dark colored clothing and masks.
The LAPD said the homeowner ran upstairs and locked herself in a bathroom inside a bedroom. She heard the intruders walk upstairs and open the door to a bedroom.
When she peeked out of the bathroom door, the intruders saw her and ran off, police said.
It was not clear if they were armed, but nothing was taken and no injuries were reported.
