Kevin Jonas is quickstepping away from the Mirrorball trophy.
Indeed, the Jonas Brothers member shared that despite repeatedly being asked to join “Dancing with the Stars,” he’s not jiving with the idea of competing on the ABC series.
“They’ve asked you pretty much every season for the last 20 years I think,” Nick Jonas asked to Kevin during a Fan Questions interview with InStyle published Nov. 18. “Is that the deal?”
The “Changing” singer quickly confirmed that he has been asked to compete and shared why he has opted out.
“For a long time, yeah,” Kevin explained. “I have said no. It’s just not for me. But thank you so much. I’m a huge fan.”
And while Kevin has no plans to shuffle across the dance floor, he’s keeping a close eye on season 34’s talent, which includes finalists Robert Irwin, Alix Earle, Elaine Hendrix, Jordan Chiles and Dylan Efron.
“I will say, we watch the show,” the “A Very Jonas Christmas Movie” star said. “It’s very fun. I feel like it’s really back. ‘Dancing With the Stars is fully back.’”

And Nick’s equally excited by this year’s competition. As for who and shared who he’s rooting for.
“It’s having a moment,” the “Jealous” singer noted. “I’m pulling for Mr. Irwin.”
As for Kevin, he’s got another star on the top of his leaderboard, chiming in, “And Efron. Dylan’s doing it.”
“Jonas Brothers” fans may hear their music during next week’s semi-finals and three-hour finale with Kevin teasing, “I’m pretty sure they’re about to perform to one of our songs.”
Indeed, Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas do some dancing on screen in their latest film “A Very Jonas Christmas Movie,” which features a whole lot of cameos from their family.
“It was great” Kevin — whose wife Danielle Jonas and daughters Valentina, 11, and Alena, 9, appear in the film — told E! News on Nov. 10. “The first scene that we filmed of the movie was with everyone together as a family. Really got the film going strong right off the bat.”
For the brothers, after portraying themselves in the film, it was only right to have their actual family star alongside them.
“We’re playing ourselves,” Nick — whose wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas and 3-year-old daughter Malti Marie also made cameos — explained. “So, casting other people to be our family would not have been believable or worked. And it was just great to have them there and set the whole tone for the whole project.”

Nick Jonas reveals his brothers Joe and Kevin were the Jonas Brothers who misbehaved the most growing up, but he admits he did have random “nearly fatal” moments when he would act out of character.
