An ice cream shop is going all out for Taylor Swift’s new album.
Located in Vergennes, Vermont, lu•lu has invented special flavors ahead of the singer’s “The Life of a Showgirl” release.
The local shop makes all of its ice cream in-house, so they’ve gotten creative for Swift.
“I decided that, with her new release, I’m so excited about it,” lu•lu owner Laura Mack said. “Waiting around for it to drop, I needed something to keep that energy going, so I was like ‘Why not fully embrace the flavors of Taylor Swift and open it up to the community who loves and adores her?'”
Mack has appropriately named these creations the “Taylor Swift Collection (lu•lu’s version).” There’s a different taste for all of Swift’s albums, with nine different mini collections. Here are the descriptions of each flavor:
- Fearless: Vanilla-Caramel ice cream (a smooth backdrop for shimmer) with a glittered-salted caramel ripple and honeycomb-toffee pieces (it tastes like stepping out fearlessly into love).
- Speak Now: Mascarpone-Blueberry ice cream (hello, gorgeous purple) with a ripple of lemon-blueberry ripple (a burst of boldness, daring you to “speak now”).
- Red: Spiced apple ice cream(warm cinnamon + baked-apple vibes)with a cider caramel ripple and streusel bits (perfect for a trip upstate, with the autumn leaves falling).
- 1989: Coconut ice cream infused with butterfly pea tea (smooth, cool, and naturally blue) with a blueberry-lemon curd ripple in our wildest dreams) with white chocolate pearls (sleek + timeless).
- Reputation: Black cocoa powder ice cream (intense, dark, unapologetic) with homemade Oreo cookie pieces (crunchy, rebellious, a little dangerous).
- Lover: Strawberry ice cream (soft pink, sweet + fruity) with small pieces of white chocolate + pieces of rainbow sugar cookies (colorful + fun, like dancing in the kitchen in the refrigerator light).
- Evermore + Folklore (sister albums): Honey-chamomile ice cream (soft, floral, and soothing — a nod to Folklore’s quiet magic) spiked with champagne (because … we all have some champagne problems).
- Midnights: Blackberry-Lavender ice cream (dreamy, floral, soft like a haze) with Blackberry compote (dark, jammy, midnight-deep) with crushed vanilla meringues (like stars in the night sky).
- The Life of a Showgirl: Tangy lime curd ice cream (zesty, vibrant, attention grabbing) with a mango-coconut ripple (show-stopping color, a scoop that takes center stage).
The special collection was available for preorder from Sept. 10-30. If you missed out, you can still order online here or try the flavors in-store from Friday, Oct. 3, through Sunday, Oct. 5, to coincide with the album drop on Oct. 3.
