SNAP cutoff sparks urgent hunger concerns in Miami-Dade

A looming cutoff in federal food assistance has Miami-Dade County bracing for a hunger crisis. Mayor Daniella Levine Cava warns that the expiration of SNAP benefits this Saturday will directly affect nearly 24% of local households — many of them seniors.
