A mansion in North Palm Beach’s gated Seminole Landing community topped luxury contracts in Palm Beach County last week.
Buyers signed 11 contracts between Oct. 13 and Oct. 19 for luxury properties in Palm Beach County, according to a report from Douglas Elliman’s Eklund-Gomes team. The homes that went pending last week total $67.4 million in asking dollar volume and averaged 119 days on the market.
The previous week, buyers signed 10 contracts totaling $47.6 million in asking dollar volume.
The report tracks signed contracts for single-family homes and condos asking $3 million or more in the Beaches MLS. It identified 58 new listings, and a total of 1,078 active listings on the market.
All of the properties that found buyers last week were single-family homes. The average asking price was $6.1 million, or $1,151 per square foot.
The most expensive listing to find a buyer is the 9,200-square-foot mansion at 1162 Banyan Estates Drive, asking $15.9 million. Records show the sellers are Monica and David J. Hill. The couple bought the 1.1-acre property, which is in the gated Seminole Landing neighborhood, for $1.9 million in 2017, according to property records. They completed the mansion in 2020, and it has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, three half-bathrooms, a pool, spa, a putting green, a half-basketball court and a pickleball court, records and the listing show.
It listed for $19.2 million last year, and the Hills dropped the price four times, Zillow shows. Elliot Koolik and Richard Entel with Compass have the listing.
The second most expensive listing to enter into contract last week was the 6,200-square-foot home at 10960 Monte Rosa Drive in Palm Beach Gardens, asking $7.3 million. It will be among the first closings in the gated Panther National golf community developed by Dominik Senn’s Centaur Holdings. The community is slated for 218 single-family homes, and has reached more than $330 million in presales since launching in 2023. This home spans five bedrooms, four bathrooms, two half-bathrooms and a pool, and was designed by Max Strang, the listing shows.
It hit the market for $7.3 million last year, Zillow shows. Jonas Mikals with Living by IMI has the listing.
