Mark Wahlberg dropped $32.6 million on a flipped mansion in the gated Stone Creek Ranch neighborhood near Delray Beach.
Wahlberg’s Closest to Delray LLC, managed by attorneys Stanley Lim and Brian Dentel, bought the mansion at 9200 Rockybrook Way from spec developer Aldo Stark’s Stone Creek Ranch Homes LLC, records show.
Senada Adžem with Douglas Elliman had the listing, and Michael Costello with Compass brought the buyer.
Wahlberg is an actor, musician and entrepreneur known for his roles in hit films such as “The Departed,” “Boogie Nights,” “Ted” and “The Other Guys,” as well as his burger restaurant chain Wahlburger.
Stark is a spec developer with a track record of building high-profile luxury homes in Stone Creek Ranch and Fort Lauderdale. In December, he sold a James Bond-inspired spec estate dubbed “Villa Spectre” for $36.8 million to retired Memorex CEO Barry Smith. In January, he sold a Ferrari-inspired mansion for $41.5 million to the Cafaro family, whose patriarch William M. Cafaro is considered a pioneer of the American mall.
In turn, Stark bought the 2.7-acre 9200 Rockybrook Way home from the Cafaros for $26 million in January. He completed an extensive renovation of the mansion, dubbed “Palazzo di Lago,” which spans 17,800 square feet. It has seven bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, two half-bathrooms, a theater, wine room, gym and sauna, records and the listing show. It also has a guest house, pool and cigar lounge.
Stark listed it for $45 million in March, Zillow shows. Listing sites show the total sale price is $37 million, which Costello confirmed includes furniture.
Costello declined to comment on the buyer, but said privacy and lot size are major draws for buyers in Stone Creek Ranch. In 2023, Wahlberg sold a 6.2-acre, 30,500-square-foot Beverly Park estate in Los Angeles for $55 million.
