Kim Kardashian is dropping hints that she’s unbothered.
“The Kardashians” star spoke out after her 12-year-old daughter North West—whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West—debuted a dramatic makeover consisting of fake face tattoos, a faux septum piercing and blue contact lenses, insisting that the preteen’s head-turning look was anything but radical.
After a TikTok video alleged that West’s new look had sparked “worries” from fans, Kardashian, 45, commented from the official account she shares with her firstborn, writing, “This is such a non-issue.”
Indeed, the SKIMS founder—who also shares kids Saint West, 9, Chicago West, 7, and Psalm West, 6, with Kanye— has actively encouraged West to explore her own style, regardless of outside opinions.
“I’m like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is,’” Kardashian told Alex Cooper on the Oct. 15 episode of “Call Her Daddy.” “It makes her so happy. I would never take that creative away from her.”

In a trailer for Kanye West’s latest documentary, “In Whose Name,” the reality star can be heard crying as she says to her ex, “Your personality was not like this a few years ago.”
And West — whom Kardashian pointed out “dresses like a tomboy most of the time” — has developed a strong sense of self as a result.
“She’ll be like, ‘Mom, I saw this and I don’t really care if someone says they don’t like my blue hair, or my this or that,’” she explained. “And she’s really confident and is like, ‘I probably wouldn’t be hanging out with those people.’”
Kardashian’s parenting style has evidently helped her build a close bond with West, who shared a heartwarming tribute to her mom for her recent birthday.
“Happy birthday to my mom,” she wrote on her TikTok Stories on Oct. 21. “I love you so much and I hope you have the best birthday ever. Thank you for always being there for me and supporting me!”
