Joe Manganiello and Caitlin O’Connor are taking the next step in their romance.
The “Magic Mike” alum and his girlfriend got engaged this summer after two years of dating, Manganiello confirmed in an Instagram post on Friday.
In a selfie of the couple and Manganiello’s dog Bubbles, O’Connor flashes her diamond ring, with the caption confirming the day of the proposal, “June 24th, 2025.”
And while the couple only just took the next step, they’ve previously proved their romance was built to last. After all, the “Winning Time: Rise of the Lakers Dynasty” actress previously shared that there has been an invisible string between them for their whole lives.
“We are both from Pittsburgh,” O’Connor told E! News last October, just after the couple celebrated one year together. “I’m from Uniontown, which is about an hour and a half south of Pittsburgh, but we met in Los Angeles. I was at a party for ‘Winning Time,’ and he was there.”
And while the 36-year-old didn’t hint that a ring was on the way, she emphasized she and the “Spider-Man” alum — who was previously married to Sofia Vergara for seven years before they separated in 2023 — were “always having fun.”

“It feels good,” she added of the romance. “It’s a new era for me.”
Indeed, the couple have not been shy about showing off their romantic bliss, either. Both O’Connor and the 48-year-old have shown off how much they enjoy traveling together, solidifying her previous sentiment to E! News that their relationship feels like a “world tour.”
“Ireland with my heart,” O’Connor wrote in an Instagram post earlier this month, subbing the final word with an emoji. “My first time to the country of my heritage thanks Joseph.”
She showed off the couple’s Emerald Isle adventures alongside Manganiello’s pup Bubbles, with one photo of them in front of a beautiful castle and another, naturally, of them in the stands at the Pittsburgh Steelers versus Minnesota Vikings’ international game.
The actor never wanted a dog — Bubbles “chose” him. Now, he and the Chihuahua are inseparable.
Although Manganiello’s romance with Vergara ultimately came to an end in 2023, with the couple finalizing their divorce in early 2024, the “Modern Family” alum emphasized that their chapter ended simply because they wanted different things.
“My marriage broke up because my husband was younger,” the 53-year-old explained to El País in 2024. “He wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom. I feel it’s not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that’s not for me anymore.” (Manganiello, meanwhile, maintained to Men’s Journal that the couple simply “grew apart.”)
However, the “Griselda” star — who briefly dated Justin Saliman following her split from Manganiello — has made it clear that she’s not ruling out her own happy ending. As she told Access Hollywood of what she was manifesting for 2025, “Health, money, a boyfriend. Or a lover, maybe.”
