Emily may have left Paris, but it looks like Lucas Bravo is very much still there.

As the first full look at season five of “Emily in Paris” debuted, giving a glimpse into how the titular character (Lily Collins) is settling into her new life in Rome, Bravo’s character Gabriel—the on-and-off love interest of Emily (Lily Collins) in the first four seasons—is conspicuously absent.

But as for what that means for his fate when the series returns Dec. 18?

“I would love to tell you something,” Bravo told E! News in an exclusive interview before deciding that he’d rather keep any knowledge he has about the upcoming season under wraps. “I like the fact that I’m not in the trailer and that it creates a conversation, and I’m gonna keep the conversation running. I won’t say anything.”

In fact, the 37-year-old—who previously caused controversy for saying he was questioning returning for season five because playing Gabriel was “not fun” anymore—wouldn’t even confirm or deny whether his absence from the trailer signified a permanent exit.

“I don’t know,” he quipped, adding coyly, “I’m not in it.”

Lily Collins is a new mom!.The “Emily in Paris” star announced that she and her husband Charlie McDowell’s first child was born via surrogate.

Indeed, Bravo has opted to keep quiet about “Emily in Paris” season five, which sees Emily relocate to Italy and also stars Ashley Park (Mindy), Eugenio Franceschini (Marcello), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie) and more.

However, back in August, the actor was seen snuggling up to his ex Shailene Woodley—who he split with one month later—while on set of the romantic comedy. Plus, Netflix shared a glimpse of the “Ticket to Paradise” actor as Gabiel in the season five snaps it released alongside the trailer.

But despite keeping tight-lipped on the comedy, Bravo was willing to provide some insight into another one of his acting gigs: his role in HBO Max’s upcoming French-language drama “The Seduction,” which was adapted from the classic novel “Les Liaisons Dangereuses” by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos.

For Bravo—whose character Gercourt was not originally a main part in the book—joining the show was a fun creative challenge.

“I had the opportunity to completely start from scratch and added a little bit of paint to something that’s been so established and well known for years,” he explained to E! in the joint interview with Vincent Lacoste. “So it was exciting to rewrite something that is already a classic, and to explore a character that is completely—I can judge him because I’m not portraying him anymore—insane.”

“The Seduction” premieres on HBO Max on Nov. 14. In the meantime, read on for a deeper look at “Emily in Paris” season five.
