“The Kitchen” is set to plate its last meal.

Food Network announced that the weekend talk show hosted by Sunny Anderson, Jeff Mauro, Geoffrey Zakarian and Katie Lee will end at the end in December, after 12 years on air.

“After 40 unforgettable seasons with over 500 episodes, #TheKitchen will officially come to an end on Saturday, December 13th,” an Oct. 20 post on the Food Network Instagram account read alongside a picture of the hosts and guest host Alex Guarnaschelli. “We’re immensely grateful to our hosts, crew, guests, and most of all, our loyal viewers for 10+ incredible years. Thank you for tuning in, cooking along, and being part of our community. Please join us for one final holiday season together in #TheKitchen.”

Lee — who has been a host of the series since it’s 2014 premiere—looked back at her time on “The Kitchen” as an “honor.”

“It’s the end of an era,” Lee wrote on her Instagram Story. “Thank you so much to all of our fans. The Kitchen was the greatest professional honor of my life and I will be forever grateful.”

Frequent guest and fellow Food Network star chef Marc Murphy reacted to the news, writing in the comments, “Guys, congrats on an incredible show — one of my favorites to watch and to be part of. You’re all legends.”

Anderson’s “Drew Barrymore Show” costar Ross Matthews also weighed in on the show’s legacy, gushing, “I love this show and everyone on it. What great work you all did. Congrats to each of you & to the incredible team behind the scenes. Bravo.”

Prior to the news of the series ending, Anderson, Mauro, Zakarian, Lee and Guarnaschelli attended the New York City Wine & Food Festival on Oct. 18. After completing a demonstration with his costar, Mauro gushed about his offscreen relationship with Zakarian.

“I love the guy, Geoffrey and I are true friends,” he gushed in an Oct. 18 interview with Citi Tour NY at the event. “He texts me every day. I lost my father in February of this year, him and my dad got along splendidly. I’m so glad to have g in my life especially in this transition of losing my father, you really see the character of the man he is, he’s a good one.”

Despite the show’s imminent ending, the network detailed its successes over the 12 years since its debut.

“For over a decade Sunny, Katie, Jeff, Geoffrey and more recently Alex have engaged audiences with their individual and distinct food sensibilities and sense of humor that together make ‘The Kitchen’ a delicious way to spend an hour,” head of food content Betsy Ayala said in a statement to Variety. “Everyone knows all good parties end up in ‘The Kitchen,’ where the conversation, laughs and food flow; the best parties probably end a little bit earlier then some guests would like, but we’ve got twelve years of memories and wanted to celebrate this team’s hard work during one final holiday season.”
