Anna Camp is feeling aca-amazing in her new life.

The “Pitch Perfect” actress — who confirmed her relationship with girlfriend Jade Whipkey in May — got candid about embracing her authentic identity.

“I just want to share that it is never too late to evolve into your truest self,” Camp told Out Magazine in an interview published Oct. 16. “Dismantling the mask of armor I had created for myself in order to navigate and survive taught me just that. I was merely surviving, not really living. And now I finally feel like I’m becoming the real Anna, thriving and alive.”

Indeed, while she is happy with her journey, the 43-year-old admitted that she’s still navigating through some guilt.

“The largest obstacle I faced this year personally was juggling the emotions about coming out in my 40s,” she said. “Which included guilt for not embracing it sooner and excitement for finally being free from the constraints that had been placed on me by society and my upbringing.”

Amid her journey, the “You actress — who was married to “Pitch Perfect” costar Skylar Astin from 2016 to 2019 as well as Michael Mosely from 2010 to 2013 — had a great support system.

“I overcame it through support from my friends and family,” she shared. “And through connecting with supportive members of the queer community.”

Camp hasn’t been shy when it comes to living in her truth. In June, she and Whipkey made their red carpet debut for the premiere of “Bride Hard.” During their date night, the couple displayed sweet PDA as they beamed while posing for photographers.

A month earlier, Camp and the 24-year-old soft-launched their romance with a date night, which came a day before they packed on the PDA during an outing in Los Angeles.

In a May 13 Instagram Story, the stylist gushed about Camp, who appeared smiling across from her at dinner, writing, “Her smile is a poem, her eyes are roses, her laugh is music for dancing.”

Access Hollywood spoke to Rebel Wilson and Anna Camp, who star together in “Bride Hard.”
