Braxton Berrios is always rooting for Alix Earle.
Even though the NFL star wasn’t able to watch his girlfriend compete live on “Dancing With the Stars'” season 34 premiere Sept. 16, Berrios made sure to send Earle his love from afar.
“I honestly haven’t really had a chance to talk to him yet,” she exclusively told E! News correspondent Will Marfuggi after the ABC show. “But he texted me a screenshot that he voted for me — most important.”
The 24-year-old added, “He’s very sweet and always supportive, so [I’m] excited to talk to him later.”
Berrios not only posted his voting receipts to his Instagram story — joking that “Voting hates to see me coming” — but he also shared a video of his TV screen showing her “DWTS” intro, writing, “Let’s go!”
And while Earle tears up the dancefloor with partner Val Chmerkovskiy, Berrios is preparing to tear up the field as the football season kicks off.
In fact, Earle revealed that he’ll return when his Houston Texans take on the Jacksonville Jaguars Sept. 21 after suffering what she described as “a little hamstring” injury.
“He’s cleared today, so he’ll be in the game next week,” she added in the interview, airing Sept. 17 at 11 p.m. “And he’s very excited.”

That means the couple is spending some time apart as she competes on “DWTS” in Los Angeles — an experience she admitted she was “really nervous” about.
And it’s not just the dancing that is out of her comfort zone, but even listening to the video packages introducing the contestants makes her cringe.
“I hate hearing myself talk,” Earle told E!. “I didn’t want to freak myself out. I plugged my ears right before, which probably made me look like a lunatic.”
Ultimately, the TikToker is ready to level up her skills in the ballroom this season.
“I’m just competitive with myself,” she explained. “So, it’s been really fun and really different for me. Just starting from zero, it’s been really cool to learn and challenge myself and go through all the emotions, good and bad.”
