Related completes Casamar tower in Pompano Beach with $350M sellout

Related Group completed its oceanfront Casamar condos in Pompano Beach, with a sellout of $350 million.

Move-ins have begun, and the tower is nearly sold out, save for a few units, according to a press release. It marks the Miami-based developer’s second finished condo project in the coastal Broward city, after the 20-story, 105-unit Solemar in 2023.

Related, led by billionaire Jorge Pérez and his sons Jon Paul and Nick, launched sales for the 21-story, 118-unit Casamar at 900 North Ocean Boulevard in 2022.

The developers tapped Arquitectonica and Rockwell Group to design the tower. Units span 1,000 square feet to 3,900 square feet, and amenities include two pools, a fitness center, a pickleball court and 283 feet of beachfront.

Recorded sales range from $1.6 million to $6.4 million, according to property records.

Casamar is one project in a stacked pipeline of condos planned for Pompano Beach, a once quiet coastal enclave. The city has emerged as a magnet for developers seeking to elevate it as a destination with branded residences.

Related has two more projects planned in Pompano Beach: the 28-story, 92-unit Waldorf Astoria Pompano Beach at 1213 South Ocean Boulevard with partner Merrimac Ventures, led by Dev and Nitin Motwani; and the 24-story, 373-unit W Pompano Beach Hotel & Residences condo-hotel 20 North Ocean Boulevard with partner BH Group, led by Isaac and Liat Toledano.

Related and Merrimac secured a $160 million construction loan for the Waldorf Astoria in June. It is more than 70 percent presold, and construction is set to be completed in 2027.
Vertical Developments, WellDuo, GCF Development, and SP Developments are partnering on their planned Armani/Casa Residences Pompano Beach at 1550 North Ocean Boulevard, which will have twin 19-story buildings totaling 28 units. Edgardo Defortuna’s Fortune International Group is partnering with Ricardo Dunin’s Oak Capital for the planned Ritz-Carlton Residences, Pompano Beach at 1380 South Ocean Boulevard. The project is slated to include a 32-story, 117-unit Beach Tower and a 14-story, 88-unit Marina Tower.
