Miley Cyrus is a little sentimental about her past.
While looking back on her fashion archive, the “Flowers” singer shared that she has held onto special pieces from her decade-long relationship with Liam Hemsworth.
“I literally have a dress that I had on when I met my ex-husband, and then I have my dress that I wore on our first date,” Cyrus said in an interview with Vogue published Sept. 24. “Along with letters and things that I really, I want to savor these kind of beautiful moments of my life.”
Cyrus, 32, who revealed she was “deep in the inventory and organization,” maintains the reminders of her relationship — which ended in 2019 — are items that she still wants to keep close.
“But because these intimate moments have also been public moments,” she said. “It’s a little bit tough to decide what piece I want to share, and what I would ever allow to be seen.”

Cyrus and Hemsworth, 35, began their relationship in 2010 — after meeting on “The Last Song” — dating on and off until tying the knot in 2018 after losing their Malibu home in a wildfire. However, eight months after their union, Hemsworth filed for divorce, with them finalizing in early 2020.
“I guess for me, when my house burned down, a lot of my relationships also burned down,” Cyrus shared during a preview of her album Something Beautiful in May, “and that again just led me to such magic and to have so much gratitude.”
“When my house burned down, that was the biggest blessing I’ve ever had in my life, actually,” the “Hannah Montana” star added. “Losing everything and being able to rebuild, and to be able to be purposeful and choose every piece that I’m gonna collect or also just about the people in my life.”
And while Cyrus — who is currently dating Maxx Morando — was a little sad about their split, she has also found time to take friendly jabs at her ex-husband, who confirmed his engagement to Gabriella Brooks earlier this month.
In a picture shared by a fan, who attended a meet and greet with Cyrus in June, the “Wrecking Ball” singer addressed their vinyl recorded, “The best Liam.”
