Bella Hadid is resting up.

The model explained that she’s been absent from New York Fashion Week because she’s been in bed to focus on her health, sharing photos from what appears to be a hospital bed Sept. 17.

“I’m sorry I always go MIA,” she captioned the pics on Instagram, “I love you guys.”

Bella’s mom Yolanda Hadid shared her well wishes for her baby girl — while also alluding to Bella’s battle with Lyme disease being the cause of her illness — writing in the comments, “Lyme warrior,” with a red heart emoji.

Her sister Gigi Hadid also shared her love, commenting, “I love you! I hope feel as strong and good as u deserve, soon!!!!!!”

The 28-year-old was diagnosed with the disease — which according to the CDC, is an infection that starts from a tick bite and can progress to serious chronic illness if left untreated — over a decade ago, and she has since opened up over the years about how it has affected her life.

“The little me that suffered would be so proud of grown me for not giving up on myself,” she wrote on Instagram in 2023, adding that she had been going through over 100 days of treatment. “Living in this state, worsening with time and work while trying to make myself, my family and the people who support me, proud, had taken a toll on me in ways I can’t really explain. To be that sad and sick with the most blessings/privilege/opportunity/love around me was quite possibly the most confusing thing ever.”

Bella continued, “The universe works in the most painful and beautiful ways but I need to say that if you are struggling- it will get better. I promise. take a step away, stay strong, have faith in your path, walk in your truth and the clouds will start to clear up.”

The supermode spoke to Allure about her new venture and reflected on her recent time away from the runway.
