Taylor Swift shared a playlist right after announcing her new album title. What could it mean?

Taylor Swift is running show business, but right now her fans are trying to figure out what exactly “show business” means.

The singer announced the title of her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” overnight with some elaborate marketing attached.

She is appearing on her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s podcast, lit up the Empire State Building orange, had a countdown clock on her official website and posted billboards with a link to a playlist that she curated.

The playlist is titled “And, baby, that’s show business for you” and includes 22 Swift songs for a total runtime of one hour and 22 minutes. It begins with her song “22” from her “Red” album and features other hits from her “1989” and “Reputation” albums.

So, what connections can be made, and what hints are there for her next album?

Fans pointed out that all 22 songs were produced by Max Martin and Shellback, sparking speculation that the duo could be prominent partners with Swift on “The Life of a Showgirl.”

Swifties also noticed a notable absence from the playlist in longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff.

Her website countdown also ended at 12:12 a.m. ET on Aug. 12 as pre-orders went live for her 12th studio album. The online store offers pre-orders for vinyl, CD and cassette editions with physical items set to ship on Oct. 13.

Beyond that, all fans have to go off is the name of the album, which she revealed on “New Heights” with Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce.

Swift did not share a release date, and the cover art for “The Life of a Showgirl” was blurred out in the “New Heights” clip.

The full “New Heights” episode is expected to drop at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance may be one for the books, but Jason Kelce thinks their love story would hold up on the big screen.
