Palm Beach County’s condo sales and dollar volume surged last week.
Brokers closed 94 condo sales totaling $37.1 million from July 28 to Aug. 3. That’s up from 57 condo sales totaling $23.5 million the week prior.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $395,110, lower than the $411,834 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot fell to $267 from $288, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $630,000 to $4 million.
Unit 201N at 2770 South Ocean, at 2770 South Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach, took the top spot with a $4 million closing. The sale closed at $915 per square foot after 623 days on market.
Carole Koeppel with Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing, and Dana Koch with The Corcoran Group brought the buyer.
Unit 9C and 9D at Ocean’s Edge, at 2600 South Ocean Boulevard in Boca Raton, closed for the second highest amount, $3.1 million, or $738 per square foot after 271 days on market.
Devin Kay with Douglas Elliman had the listing, and Michael J. Wells and Scot Karp with Premier Estate Properties brought the buyer.
