Oren Alexander has hired two new criminal defense attorneys fresh off the case of Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The disgraced real estate broker tapped Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos, who defended the hip hop mogul, along with attorney Zach Intrater, to represent him in his upcoming sex trafficking trial. Oren faces six charges, including sex trafficking, conspiracy and aggravated sex abuse, brought by the Southern District of New York. The lawyers filed notices of appearance this week.
Agnifilo and Geragos were among those dubbed the “dream team” by Combs’ family during his trial in New York. The rapper was found not guilty of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges in July after a trial in New York federal court. He was convicted on two lesser charges of transportation to engage in prostitution.
Oren, along with fellow former broker Tal and Oren’s twin brother and private security executive Alon, has been in a Brooklyn jail awaiting their January 2026 trial. They were arrested in Miami in December on sex trafficking and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking charges. Prosecutors later added charges in two superseding indictments filed in May and June.
If convicted, the Alexander brothers could face up to life in prison. All three brothers pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Agnifilo is a former supervisor at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey and former Manhattan Assistant District Attorney who largely handles cases involving financial fraud and corruption, according to his bio.
Geragos is a founding partner of Agnifilo Intrater LLP with experience defending and investigating allegations of sexual misconduct, “which involve complex legal issues and emotionally charged situations,” according to her bio.
Intrater is also a founding partner at Agnifilo Intrater. He previously spent eleven years at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey, where he specialized in white collar crime.
Agnifilo, Geragos and Intrater join Richard Klugh on Oren’s criminal defense team. Alon’s attorneys are Howard Srebnick and Jason Goldman. Tal’s attorneys are Milton Williams, Alexander Vaughan Kahn and Deanna Paul of Walden Macht Haran & Williams LLP.
Oren and Alon are also facing sexual battery charges in Miami-Dade County. Ohad Fisherman, a family friend and former associate of Oren and Tal, was charged alongside the brothers in connection with one allegation. Prosecutors dropped the case against Fisherman in July.
