One onstage moment made Katy Perry roar with pain.
As the “Firework” singer continues the Canadian leg of her Lifetimes Tour, she shared a look back at her life lately, including a mishap from one of her concerts that left her with a bloody knee.
In her Aug. 6 Instagram roundup, Perry posted one snap of a massive, bloodied gash on her right kneecap as her legs rested on the rim of a bathtub. Around her knee, other bruises appeared in a circular pattern.
“It was a slide on my knees mome that usually makes them go ahhh,” the “Teenage Dream” singer texted her friend in the next slide, “and it just made me go arghh.”
Other moments from the post include a snap of Perry and her ex Orlando Bloom’s 4-year-old daughter Daisy, as well as a video of the toddler performing a puppet show.
The former American Idol judge simply captioned the post, “We continue to be on tour.”

But Perry’s injury wasn’t the only recent performance mishap from her Lifetimes Tour. In fact, three days before her post, the 40-year-old came to a young fan named McKenna’s aide after she was brought on stage to perform with the singer and collapsed moments later.
Last month, the “California Gurls” singer also endured an unexpected—and nearly dangerous — moment during her San Francisco concert. While riding around on a huge mechanical butterfly throughout the arena, the prop, which was soaring over the crowd, suddenly fell a few feet. Luckily, Perry maintained her position and no one was injured.
After the concert, Perry laughed off the scary gaffe by sharing a zoomed-in pic of her horrified, in-the-moment reaction to Instagram alongside the caption, “Goodnight San Fran.”
Nothing is coming between Miranda Kerr and Katy Perry’s friendship. The 42-year-old supermodel showed support for the singer amid her split from Orlando Bloom by attending her recent concert in Los Angeles.
