Act III is coming — and possibly quite soon.
At least that’s what fans suspect with the latest installment of Beyoncé’s Levi’s campaign.
In the Aug. 4 video shared to her Parkwood Entertainment Instagram account, the spot is broken into three parts, as the first two show the previous Levi’s ads featuring her riding into town on a horse before stopping a laundromat and then serving up legs in a diner.
However, as the third installment begins, the words “The Smoke” with a timecard reading “9:04pm” flashes before Beyoncé goes into a pool hall, wins a game, and then rides off into the darkness on a motorcycle.
Eagle-eyed members of the Bey Hive suspect Queen Bey — who is known for surprise drops and Easter eggs — used the moment as a teaser for the third and final act of her music trilogy. What’s more, the date Sept. 4 holds a big significance to Beyoncé, as it’s also her 44th birthday.
The music power couple stunned Queen Bey’s Paris audience on June 22 with a surprise duet of their 2003 classic – the first time they’ve performed the hit in nearly seven years.

“Ya’ll notice the time? And she left on a motorcycle instead of a horse? Hmmm,” one user wrote, with another suspecting that the ad was Beyoncé confirming rock n’ roll as the final genre writing, “act III is definitely rock confirmed.”
In true Beyoncé fashion, she hasn’t shared further details and fans have exactly a month to see if they are right. The campaign comes a little over a week after the “16 Carriages” singer ended her Cowboy Carter Tour with a star-studded show in Las Vegas July 26.
Bringing her rodeo venture to a close, Beyoncé was joined onstage by her husband Jay-Z, Cowboy Carter collaborator Shaboozey and Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
In 2022, following the release of Act I: “Renaissance,” Beyonce shared the importance of creating her musical trilogy when the world needed it the most.
“This three-act project was recorded over three years during the pandemic,” she wrote in a message shared on her website at the time. “A time to be still, but also a time I found to be the most creative.”
