Broward County’s condo sales and dollar volume dropped last week.
Brokers closed 42 condo sales totaling $19.6 million from Aug. 11 to Aug. 17. That’s down from 96 condo sales totaling $29 million the week prior.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $465,448, higher than the $302,128 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $335 from $253, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $500,000 to $1.9 million.
Unit 402 at AquaVita, at 60 Hendricks Isle in Fort Lauderdale, took the top spot with a $1.9 million closing, or $801 per square foot.
R. Todd Kirkpatrick with Whitaker Realty had the listing, and Joseph Cicileo with Galleria International Realty brought the buyer.
Unit 1940 at the Beach Club, at 1850 South Ocean Drive in Hallandale Beach, closed for the second highest amount, $1.7 million, or $818 per square foot.
John Scherer and Alesya Scherer with Scherer Development represented both sides of the deal.
