A milkshake made with this ice cream will certainly bring everyone to the yard.

The parenting company Frida has teamed up with the ice cream brand OddFellows to create a limited release of breastmilk flavored ice cream, available now until August 10 at OddFellows’ New York City pop-up and Frida’s website.

The venture has been nearly an entire pregnancy term in the making. After all, Frida first announced the eyebrow-raising product was in production back in March.

“We’ve been obsessed with feeding babies forever,” Frida announced in a March press release. “And while developing our newest pump, we dove deep into the world of breastmilk.”

The company admitted that they were also partially inspired by people trying real breastmilk.

“There was a ton of chatter about what it tastes like,” the brand continued in the release. “And then people started sipping and even pounding it—for good reason!”

As for what you can expect from the flavor?

“Sweet, nutty and a hint of salt,” the press release described the treat. “And swirled with rich, creamy fat.”

Understandably, Frida fans had mixed reactions to the brand’s segue into the food space.

“I love all of this and here for the chaos,” one fan wrote beneath the announcement. “I’ll take it with whipped cream and sprinkles please.”

Another pushed back, adding, “I literally can not believe more than one person thought this was a good idea.”

Of course, Frida is far from the first entity to consider breastmilk as an option of sustenance beyond infancy. Kourtney Kardashian, for her part, previously said she drank her own milk while amid breastfeeding her and Travis Barker’s baby Rocky.

“I just pounded a glass of breast milk because I feel sick,” Kardashian — also mom to Mason, 15, Penelope, 13, and Reign, 10, with ex Scott Disick — said in an Instagram Story last April. “Goodnight!”

And while experts note that drinking breastmilk has its own slew of risks, it’s also generally fine so long as it’s stored properly and the person providing it is in good health.

As OB-GYN Dr. Sherry Ross previously told E! News, “Breast milk is rich in nutrients, vitamins and protective anti-bacterial and inflammatory properties.”

Kardashian’s admission might be jaw-dropping, but it’s far from the wildest celebrity confession. Keep reading for more…
