Trisha Paytas journeyed to Atlantis for baby name inspiration.

In fact, after confirming she and husband Moses Hacmon welcomed their third baby during the July 22 episode of her podcast “Just Trish,” halfway through the show she revealed their little boy’s name: Aquaman Moses Paytas-Hacmon.

Paytas debuted the name with a superhero-style shirt reveal on the video podcast, where she unzipped her jacket to showcase a bedazzled Aquaman t-shirt before unveiling an Aquaman statue. For them, Aquaman was “so perfect” for their baby boy’s name — combining her love for the movies and Hacmon’s love of water.

As she put it, “Not only is it so related to me, but it’s also so related to Moses.”

And while the 37-year-old shared that she’s been a big fan of the movies since 2017, she also shared that she consumed as much “Aquaman” content as possible before solidifying the name.

“I’ve been wearing Aquaman t-shirts for years,” she explained. “I’ve gone to so many comic-cons for Aquaman. And I really fell in love when we rewatched Aquaman. We watched all the Aquamans, I watched the cartoon, I was watching everything.”

In fact, Paytas, also mom to daughters Malibu Barbie, 2, and Elvis, 13 months, saw a sign that confirmed it was meant to be.

“I know it was the right name because when we went to the doctor for a follow-up last week,” she noted, “it was a different doctor than our doctor, and they had this poster in their doctor’s office. It was crazy.”

Paytas previously hinted at the name on her podcast, where she stated she and Hacmon were looking to choose a name for their baby boy based on a “water-themed movie.”

And beyond following the naming pattern she and Hacmon used for their daughters — choosing names that have movie posters to match — the couple wanted to include the baby’s zodiac sign.

“Cancer is a water sign, Moses loves water,” Paytas said in the podcast episode. “So then we’re like, ‘Okay, we need to think of water theme.'”

But after brainstorming several names that fit the bill before their son’s July 12 arrival, ultimately, they realized how much Aquaman was calling to them.

“We definitely know, ’cause now we have a name that ties to like 5,000 things,” she explained. “‘Here’s a tie, here’s a tie.’ We keep looking for all the ties, all the signs, and we’re like, ‘This is the name.'”
