“Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Jennifer Affleck is now a mom of three.
Affleck shared a video racing husband Zac Affleck with a watermelon strapped to his belly (he lost!) in an effort to kickstart labor on June 26. Hours later, she posted a video about her contractions beginning while she was getting her nails done.
In an Instagram post on July 2, the reality TV star shared that her new daughter, Penelope, “is here and she is perfect.”
Along with a carousel of images of the parents and new arrival, Jen wrote that her labor was difficult.
“Going unmedicated was truly the most painful but empowering experience of my life. I could not have done it without Zac and my supportive doula! I’m so grateful and so happy that Penny is earthside now,” she wrote.
Jen and Zac are celebrating their newest arrival, but the past year hasn’t been an easy one for them.
Early on in Season 2 of the Hulu series, viewers learned that Jen and Zac were spending some time apart after their big Chippendales blowout. (Jen and her #MomTok pals went to a Chippendales show in Las Vegas, and her husband was not happy about it.)
“It’s been a few months of straight hell since Vegas,” Jen revealed on the show, adding that she was “separated” from her husband. Although she was still adamant that separation was best to help “figure out what’s best for our relationship,” she allowed her husband to move back in.
Viewers can watch Jen’s initial reaction to finding out she’s pregnant in real time on “Secret Lives” … and her initial response was not necessarily positive.
But when the couple shared the news with People.com in February 2025, they seemed much more excited.
“I couldn’t have navigated this chapter of life without the support of my family, my therapist and God!” Jen said in the interview.
The new addition joins the couple’s children, 23-month-old son Lucas and 3-year-old daughter Nora.
Jen said, “Nora has been hoping for a little sister, and I can tell she really wants it to be a girl!”
Looks like Nora got her wish!
“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” is your next reality TV obsession. The series features a young group of Mormon wives turned TikTok influencers who get caught up in a sex scandal that shocks their conservative community. Access Daily’s Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover sat down with the cast to discuss just how wild the show gets. “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” premieres Sept. 6 on Hulu.
