“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” are hitting the diamond in Brooklyn next week for a great cause.
Cast members from the popular Bravo series will take on Maimonides Health physicians and staff in the sixth annual Battle for Brooklyn celebrity softball game. The event raises funds to benefit the Maimonides Breast Center, while championing the importance of breast cancer awareness and early detection.
The 2024 edition of the Battle for Brooklyn raised more than $100,000.
This year’s game will be played on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Coney Island’s Maimonides Park, home of the Brooklyn Cyclones, with first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m. ET. Tickets are still available.

NBCUniversal Local’s Clear The Shelters, a nationwide pet adoption and donation campaign, will also be part of the fun this year. There will be a pregame adoption event outside the stadium where fans can meet adoptable pets from two participating CTS shelters (St. Hubert’s and Bideawee Adoption Center). Catania will stop by to greet fans and take pictures.
Adoptable pets from St. Hubert’s, Bideawee Adoption Center and Little Shelter will then be highlighted on the Maimonides Park jumbotron throughout the game, and some will even run the bases prior to first pitch.
Clear The Shelters-branded merchandise, made in partnership with The Black Dog, will be available for purchase at an NBC store inside the stadium. CTS merchandise will also be included in giveaways during the game.
Editor’s note: NBCUniversal Local and Bravo are both part of NBCUniversal.
