Nostalgic video gamers, this one’s for you.
Nintendo and The Lego Company have teamed up to release a new Lego set based on the original Nintendo Game Boy.
The 421-piece set is a “near 1:1” scale of the original Game Boy, allowing fans to relive their glory days. Unfortunately, the Lego Game Boy doesn’t actually play any games.
The Lego Game Boy is available to pre-order from Lego.com for $59.99. It will be released starting Oct. 1, 2025.
In addition to the Game Boy device pieces, the set includes interchangeable, brick-built Game Boy cartridges based on “The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening” and “Super Mario Land.” There are also interchangeable “screens” to replicate the start screen or gameplay scenes.
The Lego Game Boy kit is part of a large offering of Nintendo-themed items, including a remake of the Nintendo Entertainment System and a retro television, a Great Deku Tree from “The Legend of Zelda” and several “Super Mario “kits.
The highly anticipated second version of the portable Nintendo gaming device had some upgraded features. Here’s everything you need to know about the Nintendo Switch 2.
