Miami-Dade County’s condo sales and dollar volume plunged last week, following a mid-month market surge.
Brokers closed 84 condo sales totaling $60.1 million from June 23 to June 29. The previous week, brokers closed 135 condo sales totaling $122 million.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $715,219, lower than the $903,964 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot fell to $547 from $580, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $1.5 million to $4.3 million.
Unit 809 at Il Villaggio, at 1455 Ocean Drive in Miami Beach, took the top spot with a $4.3 million closing. The sale closed at $1,911 per square foot after 84 days on market.
Kimberly Rodstein with Douglas Elliman had the listing, and Adriana Briceno with Compass Florida brought the buyer.
Unit 3502 at Nancy Terrace, at 788 Northeast 23rd Street in Miami, closed for the second highest amount, $3 million, or $902 per square foot after 57 days on market.
Liz Hogan with Compass represented both the buyer and seller.
