Casey Anthony makes rare outing in New Hampshire

Casey Anthony was out and about in New England.

Four months after she joined social media, the 39-year-old — who was acquitted in 2011 of murder, manslaughter and child abuse for the 2008 death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Anthony — made a rare appearance while out to dinner in New Hampshire.

In pictures of the July 9 outing obtained by TMZ, Anthony sported a sleeveless, nearly-backless black top and jeans while rocking a short bob haircut — a stark contrast to the long ‘do she sported in March. She was joined at the Seasons Tickets bar in Manchester, N.H., with a bearded man who donned a black, short-sleeved top covered in colorful flamingos.

While the dinner date was a rare sighting of Anthony — who was found guilty in the 2011 trial of four counts of lying to investigators — it’s not the only recent appearance she’s made. In March, she turned heads when she joined TikTok to announce she was planning to use her experience and notoriety to help others navigate the legal system.

“I am a legal advocate,” Anthony said at the time. “I am a researcher. I’ve been in the legal field since 2011 and in this capacity, I feel that it’s necessary if I’m going to continue to operate appropriately as a legal advocate, that I start to advocate for myself and also advocate for my daughter.”

The public figure — whose lawyers said during her trial that Caylee Anthony accidentally drowned in the family pool — also launched a Substack blog account, where she has regularly posted resources and information.

“The whole point of this is for me to begin to reintroduce myself,” she continued. “I’m doing this both personally for me, but in a professional capacity. My goal is to continue to help give a voice to people, to give people tools and resources that they can utilize so they actually know where they can turn to.”

Of her hopeful mission, Anthony concluded, “I am proverbially standing in the light. Embracing this peace.”
