$12M Arte Surfside closing tops Miami-Dade weekly condo sales

The summer slowdown seems to be speeding up. Miami-Dade County’s condo sales and dollar volume rose last week.

Brokers closed 75 condo sales totaling $85 million from July 7 to July 13. That’s up from 68 condo sales totaling $47.7 million the previous week.

Last week’s units sold for an average of $1,133,152, higher than the $700,760 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $648 from $495, according to data from Redfin.

For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $1.9 million to $12.3 million.

Unit 702 at Arte Surfside, at 8955 Collins Avenue in Surfside, took the top spot with a $12.3 million closing. The sale closed at $3,906 per square foot after 80 days on market.

Miltiadis Kastanis and Pablo Alfaro with Compass had the listing, and Devin Kay with Douglas Elliman brought the buyer.

Unit 3102 at the Estates at Acqualina, at 17975 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach, closed for the second highest amount, $8.9 million, or $2,030 per square foot after 162 days on market.

Adriana Vargas Hernandez with Acqualina Realty had the listing. Ashley Cusack with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty, and Nancy Batchelor with Compass represented the buyer.
