Lynda Carter, best known for portraying Wonder Woman, sold her condo at Four Seasons Residences at the Surf Club for $19.5 million.
Records show Carter, whose full name is Lynda Carter Altman, sold unit S-903 at 9001 Collins Avenue in Surfside to Real Wow LLC, a Delaware entity. The true buyer is unknown.
Ximena Penuela with Fort Realty represented both the buyer and the seller.
Carter played the Lasso of Truth-wielding titular role in the hit series “Wonder Woman” from 1975 to 1979. She also had parts in the “Super Troopers” movies and a cameo in “Wonder Woman 1984,” and has been inducted into the California Hall of Fame. In 1984, she married video game mogul and attorney Robert Altman, who died in 2021.
That year she bought the Surf Club Four Seasons condo for $15 million. The 4,000-square-foot unit has four bedrooms, five bathrooms and one half-bathroom, records show.
Fort Partners completed the oceanfront complex in 2017. Designed by Pritzker Prize winner Richard Meier and Kobi Karp, the Surf Club has 150 condos in two towers, a 72-key hotel, four pools and a Thomas Keller restaurant.
Carter listed her Surf Club unit for $26 million in October, Zillow shows. The final sale price equated to a $6.5 million price drop.
Surf Club Four Seasons is one of the most coveted luxury condo towers among Miami-Dade County’s luxury buyers. Last year, an entity linked to Apple bought a penthouse for a record $44 million.
More recently, hedge funder Patrick McMahon sold his condo to WorldQuant founder Igor Tulchinsky for $24.9 million in March. In December, Ruben Companies boss Richard Ruben sold his condo to developer Peter Fine for $14.3 million. Also in December, an entity linked to health care mogul Frederick Howe bought two units at Seaway at the Surf Club, an adjacent condo project also by Fort Partners, for $31.1 million.
